It's a big PDF file, so be patient. I scanned the crossword puzzle at a high resolution so that it would be legible.

The puzzle is from Turf and Sport Digest, April 1953.

If you have any suggestions for getting it down to the 30KB size limits and still keep it legible, please let me know. I can't figure out a way to do it. THX

I would think there would be a middle ground between 27MB and 30KB. I think you went a bit crazy with the scan resolution...

1953? Great, you'd have to be 75+ fricken years old (and/or a historian geek) to have a chance at completing it. The good news is this only eliminates 10% of all horseplayers...
