Looks like Hard Spun will get real test tomorrow. He draws outside post in quirky OP one miler. Race starts and ends at 1/16 pole. Longer run to first turn than normal 1mi-70 layout.
Lots of speed inside -- I Gotta a Dream, Forty Grams, Our Sacred Honor, and Starbase -- all wire-to-wire types as Hard Spun showed in his last race. Will hot early pace cause race to fall apart and allow one of other four to close and win. Remember, stretch in 1/16 mile shorter with this "altered course."
I like XChanger followed by local riders on Officer Rocket (Calvin Bo-rail aboard), Going Ballistic (Clif Berry), and Teuflesberg (Sean Elliott). Where does Hard Spun finish? Best value make being taking stand against him as he faces very professional group here. This ain't Pennsylvania Nursery!
