Good new. In two days, all the nausiating, mud-slinging, deplorable campaign ads will end for another year.
Bad news. Half of the slime balls will be elected!
Worse news. They are letting them vote in Florida again <G>

Tom in FLA you would think they would have learned from the Bush/Gore fiasco. But of course not in the Democratic primary Janet Reno lost in a very close vote. Seems in Palm Beach County hehehehehehe her opponet got ALL 16.000 votes!! She was going to contest this result until the party elders (hey the Dems seem to be running a lot of elders) told her to cool it in the name of "party unity". What a joke dept big time LOL

I remember one time many years ago when there was some kind of an election, one of the political cartoonists' had a good line on a poster in the background. On a shelf behind one of the hopeful politicians, was a bold-lettered poster with the usual campaign promises. In small print on the bottom of the poster, was the following disclaimer:

"All campaign promises expire after 24 hours, If I'm elected."

Or did the UN suddenly shift into high gear as soon as they saw the mandate we gave George W at the polls?
