book for 2/28 and 3/22.

aside from attendance reaching about 977 due to inclement weather,
running low grade claimers underscores the need to eliminate winter racing
in NY.

You should be happy - last week, the $5,000 horses ran for $10,000.
Truth in advertising. Now when they can't win there and ship out to Pen or CT, people won't be drooling over "$10K" shippers.

I applaud the racing sec for carding races that will fill. I'd rather a full field of bad claimers than a 5 horse NW2 race written for Pletcheater or Drugtrow to get an easy purse.
