Thanks PA. Just spent the past 90 minutes 'capping this card. Hope GP doesn't decide to follow suit. Back to clearing all the snow from my driveway. Only positives so far today is that the "Energy Patch"(VLO & HAL) is coming back to life.

They've already started cancelling schools tomorrow and not a flake of snow yet. They really put a lot of faith in those weathermen.

I hope we get buried and I can't get to work.
Just a free day of sex, drugs, and rock and roll.
Well, rock and roll.
Well, maybe a nap.

Ya know, I think you guys sprung a leak up there. If you get some time do you think you could look into doing something about plugging it!

.. Wind Advisory in effect until 3 am CST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a
Wind Advisory... which is in effect until 3 am CST Wednesday.

In the wake of a strong cold front... northerly winds will
continue to increase late this afternoon and into this evening
along the coast as colder air spreads to the coast and offshore.
In addition to the colder air... the pressure gradient will tighten
as high pressure builds south into the plains.

Sustained north winds around 25 mph with wind gusts around 35
mph are expected along the immediate coast and Bay shorelines.
Wind speeds will slowly subside after midnight as the
pressure gradient begins to relax.

Drivers of vans... campers... trailers... and other high-profile
vehicles should be alert to the danger of these winds... especially
when driving along east to west oriented roads.

We're getting really annoyed down here :p

Nasty out there. Wasn't sure I was going to get into work. Train doors kept getting jammed with ice. Supposed to be exteremly cold windchill tomorrow, so would count on another cancel

Heads Up if you're using your AQU Wednesday programs/pps that were moved to Friday. Race 3 was redrawn - the program numbers and post positions have been reassigned. All other races are the same.
