Now that PHA has increased their purses, some NY guys are taking advantage
of it by shipping in where appropriate. I personally think that Bruce Levine
is an old school horsemen that doesn't over-race his stock so when he has a talented horse that is well spotted, I always take notice. On paper, race 7 today at PHA appears somewhat competitive race but SWEET STRAWBERRY
looks like he has been running against stronger fields AND showed alot of ability
(strong pace rating) as a 2yo early in his career. Now Levine has him, freshened him up, and ships to PHA for his 3yo debut. The ML makes him a very luke-warm favorite at 7-2 in a 12 horse field. I expect this horse to run a big race today and hopefully present some value.
