Woodside Associates provides potential clients the ability to view yesterdays data at no charge to see how are ratings performed. By going to the link below and checking off the tracks you want to receive, you will get emailed a PDF file for each of these tracks.

Please request the Fairgrounds from yesterday, saturday 2/10, to view the RISEN STAR Derby prep race. Our ratings pointed to NOTIONAL and IMAWILDANDCRAZYGUY as clearly the top two 3yo's in this race; 2 lengths better than the weak favorite. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING ? I don't think they were.

Good Luck,
John

PS For those of you not interested in receiving the file by email, I tried uploading it here but it is too large.

John, why not let us see race analyses for today. All the past data seem so deja vu.

I can only do one or two a week. See my post regarding the Whirlaway. I do a race of the week each week. Always a stakes event. I need to keep the balance between this and all the other work. I think its time well spent getting the previous days ratings, checking your DRF, and monitoring the results
as well as how the horses performed. You will get a feel for whats what in
a short period of time.

Good Luck,

John

For what it is worth, the Risen Star was my Race of the Week (http://www.pacefigures.com/ROTW/risenstar.htm).

Why do you thunk they let that CRC horse go off at 10-1 ?

I bet them both to win, at 10-1 you couldn't help it.

I thought he had a fair chance to finish in the money, but I didn't like him as a top win candidate. http://www.freefilehosting.org/public/36028/THE%20RISEN%20STAR%20STAKES.pdf.

He kind of chased Green Vegas around in Florida for a while. He was rating nicely early in his career, and then in his races in October and November he started to make a little bit of a middle-move. His last race Imawildandcrazyguy returned to the rating tactics. I couldn't get too excited about the margin of victory, because he beat up on 4 horses in 146.1. Steelix was getting beat by everyone. It was great to see Jara come down for the ride.
You knew the Risen Star was going to be won in the stretch. Imawildandcrazyguy did in fact rate off the pace early. He ran a visually impressive second in the Risen Star. Strong looking horse.
