Problem With "The hat"

The problem that i have with the "Hat" is simple and he says it to ,he wins races not money. Of course he wins money but that does not meen that you will. There must be more of a cusion for most handicappers. We need to win alot of money at once just to stay in the game. I am going to try it the "Hat's" way once again but i do not think things will cange or have changed. It is to hard to grind it out.

In a thread on The Match-Up over in the Handicapping Library section, I asked about the guidelines "The Hat" uses as far as odds and betting value. As I understand it, you bet the Match-Up horse to win if its odds are 3-2 or higher. If its odds are lower than that, you play it as part of whatever multi-race exotic (Daily Double, Pick-3, etc.) the race is part of (but not "same-race" exotics like exactas, trifectas, or superfectas).
