POSITIVE FORM SELECTOR METHOD

1- No maiden races are playable.

2- Qualifying races must be run no more than 45 days from today's race.

3- Qualifying PFSM past performance lines are as follows:

A- A 2nd or 3rd place finish [any lengths] or a 4th place finish [2.5 lengths or less].

B- A 1st place finish that was disqualified to another finish position if qualified on 3-A. If disqualified from purse money, then qualify the horse from races run before or after disqualification .

4- If a horse qualifies in more than 1 race then use the oldest qualifying past performance date.

5- For each horse that qualifies in rules 1 through 4, award the following points:

A- 1 point for the horse[s] that qualify in rule 3.

B- 1 point for the horse[s] that finished closest to the winner in the qualifying race.

C- 2 points for the horse[s] that show[s] the most races between today and the qualifying race.

D- 2 points for the horse[s] that show[s] the highest total purses for the last 4 races.

E- 2 points for the horse[s] that show[s] the most or least weight reduction from its qualifying race.

F- 2 points for the horse[s] that show[s] the highest tote board odds, the listed program odds or the highest total odds for the horse[s] last 4 races.

6- Play the horse with the most points to win.

7- Playing daily double, exacta, perfecta and trifecta races:

A- Daily doubles must have at least 1 qualifier in each race. If more than 3 horses qualify, select the top 3 horses.

B- Exactas & perfectas must have at least 2 qualifiers in the race. If more than 2 horses qualify, select the top 3 horses.

C- Trifectas must have at least 3 qualifiers in the race. If more than 3 horses qualify, select the top 3 horses.

That's very nice of you to post, but do you have any results to back up method, that would put it in a favorable light?

Or any results at all, regardless whether good or bad?

I haven't tested it recently, but it did work quite well. Since it takes no time at all to get the qualifiers and rate them, a test of a couple of hundred current races should be enough to determine if it's for you. If you program, it could be written in one or two days to speed up your testing.
