This doesn't sound good:

According to Corp. Jorge Oseguera, a state trooper with the Arkansas State Police, Norman, 38, crossed the center line while driving on Highway 7 South near Long Island Dr., and hit the vehicle driven by the woman, Virginia Heath.

The woman died. She was 86.

First time Norman would be happy if the blood test revealed a milkshake.

According to news reports out of Little Rock, police received 2 phone calls prior to the accident complaining of an erratic driver. The comment from Norman to the trooper was that he "was tired and probably fell asleep at the wheel".

The article was pulled from both the bloodhorse and DRF after a short time???

Didn't Norman break his neck last year on a four wheeler? I haven't seen anything about this reported car wreck.

David Clark, a jockey in Ontario was charged with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated last spring.
It was next to hushed up all year. I'm not even sure of the status of the trial, when it was or when it will be.
I do know he was allowed to ride all year long.

If he winds up in the right prison, he may wish he was in the Explorer.

Not to make light of a sad story...but one of the Arkansas newspapers reported that "Mrs. Heath’s mother Ilaree was the older sister of Roger Clinton Sr., Bill Clinton’s first stepfather". Huh? Does that qualify for cousinship?

Are you saying he might become the juicee, not the juicer (only rumored to do this)?

Ron, are you from Arkansas?? Sounds, as if, there may be some redundacy in your family tree. Especially, when painting people with a broad brush. Maybe a better question for you is, how many Banjo pickers are at the base of your family tree.

"Norman, who escaped unharmed in the wreck, has maintained from the beginning that he had fallen asleep at the wheel.

But post-wreck toxicology reports showed that the 39-year-old Lafayette native was driving under the influence of several strong narcotics, including hydrocodone, oxycodone, and another unspecified drug normally used to treat anxiety."
