Are you so worried that your figure for the day/week/month/year might go from positive to negative that you don't do what is necessary to win?

I have no such worries.
I do what is neccessary to win - keep records and learn from them.

I try and run a couple times a week and watch my diet to protect my figure, but that's just me.

Do you mean that people shouldn't hide their figures? Wouldn't that be like not hiding your cards in poker?
