I am not going to make a poll out of this, but if you feel like sharing I have two simple questions.

1.) Are you going to the NHC

2.) What software/method did you use to get there.

Thanks to all that respond!

Jim

I don't like your tone Mr..... Or am I'm being too sensative once again?

Might be others going - the threads been open now for several hours, others might be doing things or miss a night on P.A. OK, I know I may not have much of a life, but others might! :D

I'll be there. 2 tickets I have a financial interest in as part of a handicapping team have qualified.

Good luck to the qualifiers.

The World Series and the NHC are the places for people with tools to shine.

No tone involved in my post at all, just was surprised that there were dozens of people posting and no one responded.

I would hope people have jobs and a life and many other things.

I guess anyway you write something on the Internet, it will be taken in a number of different "tones".

thanks for sharing your success,
Jim

I'm in too. I didn't use a program at all. I have a db set up to generate pace figs for me, but that day I wasn't feeling well and just winged it from the paper DRF. Really looking forward to going to Vegas as I haven't been there before.

I'm in. Using old fashioned DRF and BRIS.

I'm in. I make my own ratings, basically an old fashion pencil and paper. Well, the access to the charts via the internet helps. Good luck to all who are particiapating.

I'm toying with the idea of going down for the last chance contest. Has anybody played in it previous years? just trying to get a grasp on how big the field might be.

Oh Dear Lord, the P4 contest right here, is incredible. How come you tournament guys did not sharpen your capping skills right here. There are some very awesome cappers here -- not system sellers, data purveyors -- but just regular players who are so right on, I never really realized until this year. This is my 3rd attempt in the P4. I finished 4th, then 16th, and now, who knows. It seems harder than I recall.

I am also in....use primarily CJ's stuff and then Taulbot's pace computer.
I start by doing "form" eliminations then use the above.

So far, I see CJs figures and homegrown stuff with a mix of the DRF. I guess I shouldn't jump the gun on some of the other programs that are talked about here.

I know that they give out BRIS stuff and Thorograph stuff for free with the understanding that when you win, you say you used it.

Good luck to everyone, I look forward to reading your stories about Vegas!
