I'm a toteboard only player and I use only 1 horse selections. These selections are extremely excellent plays in your exotics. I personally play all these selections myself.
I will make my selections anywhere from 3 min to 1 min to post so be ready and refresh your page often.

Mind if I join you for a couple of plays Anderon? I have one for Tampa R2.

#1 LEXICON FALLS could lead them all the way around in this one.

Here is another maiden race. PHA R3 I like the class jumper #8 JIMINY TICKET.

He fits in this field and there is not much confidence in my top selection #6 DAVID`S DANCE. I would be interested in your tote look at this race.

Murph!! Winner #8 pays $14.60.

I am paying much closer attention to class jumpers who recieve some tote action in the middle flashes. I know you are busy handicapping Anderon, so I will check back later for any comments you have and a question or two on possible issues with your method and how you handle them.

When playing the smaller track pools it often happens that 2/3 of the money wagered comes in on the last two flashes before the start.

Are your decisions based on odds before this point or just after?

I considered the early odds and drift up as a positive sign, yet before the last 2 flashes I expected nearly 9-1 on the R3 at Philly. I was suprised at the low odds of the #3, who dropped from 4-1.

There is so much money waiting until so late, it makes it difficult for me to know the true price I'll get until after the wager.

How often does the final flash of the tote change the play you made into a play you may not have made because of the odds?

Murph - Are you taking your vitamins & eating 3 squares?

I hadn't realized the level of your game. If you get a chance, step it up a notch.

You're swimming in pools of data & thought that are awfully shallow and the 'no diving' sign is firmly in place.

So what bigmack?

I posted a net winner to this thread earlier today.

I'm just looking at some maiden races here. I consider wagering activity on maiden winners to be helpful on many occassions. Say what you will about the level of my game.

With all there is to do in this world and all the angles to look for that can pay handsomely with bonafide homework, watching wagering activity on Mdn's is a frivolous use of your time. AKA, Don't bother, IMO

Plenty of other things of note to pay attn to without such sillyness.

Your absolutely right on your observation of these smaller track pools Murph. It is alot harder to get an earlier read on them as they change so drastically in the last couple of flashes before they come out of the gate. That is why I tend to get shut out alot because I'm trying to get that last tote flash before they go off. I had a race the other day when I bet a horse at 1 min to post at 9-1 he then went down to 7-1 then to 5-1 then finally to 9-2 as they were running. I don't like horses that get pounded in the end like that, they are one of the most horrible plays there are, believe it or not. That horse didn't do crap either. I do like the bigger tracks so much better as you don't get such drastic fluctuations like the smaller tracks do, they are alot more stable. I'm working on something now to solve the problem of these smaller tracks and I"ll see how it works out in the next week or two to see if it's going to be a viable solution.:)
