never gave this track a good looking into, but

some changes they are making;
purse increase, ex. from $21 to $30.clm,
race pays till last.
extra purse for a route.

8 races on the weekend
11 races on the Mon., tue. card.
earlier start time, boo!

nice size fields, i would guess.

and I followed it for years BEFORE the changes and loved it. A very nice race track with a fairly predictable speed bias.

Been following PHA for several years now. The only thing I dont care for is the TAKEOUT. I believe they have one of the highest in the country.

the few times that i gave Philly a try, nothing seemed to work for me.

and yes , i believe they have a high Take.

of coarse, the bottom line would be 'how many winnrs'?

they have so much property, along with Phone Bet system, now the slots...
competition is tough in the neighourhood tho.

Are you a Trifecta or SUperfecta player? They are very competitive for the other bets,

Youbet doesn't carry Philly. What's up with that?

Back in the late 70's - early 80's, when it was Keystone, you could bet 1-2 and never look back. Route races showed a flat bet profit - and not a small one - boxing 1-2 in every route exacta for a full year. One day, I played the 1-2 in 5 routes and hit them all.
NY used to be able to bet Keystone on Tuesdays when NYRA was dark, and that was about all we had back then - no out of state tracks other than Philly.
