This issue came up at the same time as the second email acct. I am cancelling the local ISP (Cavalier tele.) because it had been billing us all this time even though I cancelled it months ago.
I am stuck w/ Netzero as the ISP and I want to get rid of them as I read bad things. I have not really had problems with them other than getting booted off after about 2 hours. Not bad problem. ANd waiting for the movie that starts with every log on..Still not very bad..What started me thinking today was I never wrote down a password for my email acct or I lost it. Getting a new password doesnt work as netzero apparently didnt get the secret answer to the secret question. I dont recall giving it to them. So now I have to call customer service and that is $2 a min! So I can see where this is leading as have others pointed out on the internet.
What do you recommend for a cheap dialup ISP? hopefully under $10. If there is a discussion board for this, you can direct me there. I tried to google it and found like one page and its hard to navigate. What was that one place that use to have reviews? CNet? epinions?
