OK here we go. Third time live. Profit last two times. We'll see how our win bets workout tonight.

Charlestown...

Looks like we may have three overlays. If so it'll be $6 bet. I think the 1 is the one to beat here in the first.

We will try and beat em with :

8-3-9 $6 win bet

What a great start for the night. Our selections came in 1st,2nd,3rd for the $507 trifecta. Even the dreaded 1 came in 4th to complete the super for over $1,000.

But we had $6 out ..$10.60 back on the win bet.

Now for the second. Right now the 8 and 7 are small overlays. The odds will surely change by the time they go off. But I will make the selection bet based on the odds right now.

Horses are:

8-7-3 bet the 8-7

Thanks buddy. Posting here and making an early choice is not easy. As I said in last post odds would change by time horses loaded. And they did. My 8 and 7 dropped to underlays and the 3 went to overlay. But I decided to play this way since I'm posting here. If as normal, I would have bet at 3 min mark and been just on the 3. But that's ok. We will still continue.

We got a winner again in top 3. But as I just posted, I accepted the 8 and 7 early and they dropped to unders and the 3 went over. But we will take the loss and move on.

This next race is a very rough one I think. The 4 is our top pick and looks almost unbeatable here. So I think I may take the chickens way out and play my 2nd and 3rd choice as place bets. I normally don't do this, but when putting it on the line, I don't mind admitting when I'm a big chicken.

Horses are:

4-10-2 If I was to run an exacta, I would probably put the three hoprses on top of the 8. But it's 10-2 to place.

Yea, these small tracks can change in a heartbeat....I always see the exacta pools double or more in the last minute to post...it can get very difficult to get the right odds. Well I gotta go...the wife wants to watch a movie...catch ya later....BTW Hi ya Stu !!

Hey Stu,

I'm doing well. I hope you weren't laughing at my 2 you rascal. Now the 4 knows that cheaters never prosper. :)

Almost ready for the next race.

How do you like the 1 in the next?

I bet the 2.....liked him...exotics would have been better...

Handiman

Like I said cheaters never prosper. Thanks to the DQ, our two place bets paid off nicely. $4 out ..$12.60 back. Also a box would have hit a nice $234 tri.

Ok on to the next race...the 1-5-8 all look nice. But we are going to get a little crazy here and try and beat them with a couple of my odd selections.

Horses are:

3-4-8 ...bet 3-4 win.

The girls are getting ready to run. Last race I was worried about the 1 and he proved to be too much for our 4 and 3. We did get 2nd and 4th. The next race is one I don't feel great about, as the 4 is showing to be a monster here on my screen. But going to try and beat her with 2nd and 3rd selection.

$4 out ...$0 back

Horses are:

4-7-9

The 9 just dropped of our radar as a big underlay.

So single win bet on the 7.

The 7 had a rough go. I see the whining ass jockey got his way. I only say that as I made a 4-9 exacta a a save bet and got weezeled out of it. But I guess cheaters never prosper:( cost me a little exacta back up bet. Anyway we move on to the 6th.

Horses are:

5-1-4 The 1 looks very tough here, but w will give the 5-4 a chance to beat him.

5-4 win bet.

Another winner in top three. But as long as favs keep coming across it's going to be tough for us to make any money. The 1 was just too tough for the 5.So on tothe next one.

Here is another laugher for you guys. When you see the horses..you certanl will get a giggle I' sure, but I'm sticking with the program.

Horses are:

3-10-9 All overlaid right now. Expect them to sty that way. What's the 9 doing in here. I'm not relly sure. So it will be 3-10-9 to win...$6 out.

I think tat might have been our fist complete miss for the night. We did pick up 3rd and 4th, but we weren't lose to the winner.

So $6 out...0 back.

We mve onto the eighth.

Horses are:

2-3-7 ...2 is underlaid an a big fav. We are going to take it on with win bets on the 3 and 7. Here's a longshot pick in this one....It's the 4 Nantucket Moon.

We managed a 1st and 3rd with or picks. But again, the fav came in and we just won't bet the underlays. This next race looks ridiculous. The 7 is a gigantic fav. My screen shows it as the speed of the race, but not a selection. I will post our selections, but not bet them. Again I'm either really smart or a big chicken. At least as far as this race goes.

No bets. But the horses are:

5-1-2

GL...if you have the guts to pull the trigger in this race.

I guess the answer to the last race was I was a BIG CHICKEN!! We had the exacta! That of course says we had the winner too!

I asked in a thread the other day about confidence. I was serious as a heartattack when I asked it. If you have been watching tonight, then you know we had the tri cold in the first race. We also had a box tri that would have paid $234. I didn't have confidence enough to bet them. I also am not very good at structuring exotic bets.
I bring this up because of the earlier results and in this last race. The following was my contenders list....5-1-2-8-6-7 and others. Believe me or not doesn't matter. But you saw what the super paid.

I need help in learning how to structure exotics. I'm open to some suggestions.

Now to the last race.

Horses are:

10-4-3....the 3 again is a monster. I wll bet this one, although I should have bet the last one and probably skip this one.

Win bet on the 10-4

Nice way to end the night. Beating a 3/5 fav. I just wish I had the trust to have bet the 9th too. It would have made this a very positive night.

Final....$34 out and $33.40 back.......-1.1% ROI...guess that's close to even..

The 9th race would have put us at +10% ROI....but with chicken feathers in my mouth....Oh well you know.

Hope I can get the exoctic betting figured out.

Good night and thanks for hanging out with me.

Good Luck and Good Night!
