Interesting series of articles about private security companies -- mercenaries, in some cases.
One interesting point the writer describes is how different nationalities view their roles.
Americans tend to think they are an extension of the armed forces -- many of them are former US military people. They believe they are doing the "right" thing.
Whereas, Brits or Aussies view their work as a job. They are there for the contract and the money. They don't care who is right and who is wrong.
Worth reading.
