View Full Version : How bout some Turfway!!
In the opener
How bout the 5 & or 8 to round out the exotics.
To answer the question - I'm not that crazy/stupid to include my price horses on top at least a little!! :)

The poly specialist has arrived. That was gargantuan. I've got some other distractions but I'll size in for ribbing purposes only. gl Tee

I have a blizzard outside bigmack, so I'm in for the night watching TVG.
Race 8
4 horse doesn't look to shabby walking towards the gate.

Blizzards? I remember those. Keep in mind @ TP to consider strongly those with early or in the least pressing running styles as few come from "off"
I done gots some interest in the 13 and 12 in 2nd. The 12 as a result of name only.
R2: P3
12-13
11-3-12
8-1
I have come up with the 4,6,7

Knowing the speed favoring conditions of TP picking two from the outside posts, going 6, was clearly a case of temporary loonacy.
The 6 could give em the slip here, or is she gonna set a hot pace for her 2nd choice in the wagering stablemate?
I'm thinking the 9 could be making a strong move in the lane - short price though.
The 11 dropping down to the 5k level from 8K 2nd off the claim could be in the mix as well.
Could be looking at a somewhat chalky result here in the 3rd.
Must admit I did not see the overlay on the 4 horse - very playable at 11/1 imo.
Oh well, on to the next.
Let's see who is looking good behind the gate.
12 horse at even money - better be good!!!
I'll take the 2nd choice in the middle of the gate - #6.
Not even close :D
Big balloons for someone out there!!!!
Let's see if the 2 is in fact a so called "quitter"
Will also be using the 7, not sure if two other horses will get past both the seven & the duece for the exacta.
So that means it comes 1-8 or 8-1 :D
Nice ride there on Delaware Debutante.
I'll go with two horses that may as well have been marooned on a desert island in their last few starts.
That would be #'s 1 & 6.
Uh - I might be done for the night :)
Nah!!!!
Ok I like 3 horses in a race that appears to be loaded with early speed types.
#5 Moonshine Time chased a loose on the lead Bridled Honey last out. Company on the lead for Honey might help the Moonshine's chances tonight.
#10 Judy's Gem looks able to sit behind the pacesetters with the many mile races under her belt and make a run when called upon.
#12 So Hot - 2nd off the bench after a near 5 month break. Drops down again, which is a concern to me, but his running style may do the trick in this race.
I'm seeing #3 Grand Ridge & #6 Case Chaser closing in on the early speed here in the 7th.
Must mention #8 Imaflashycat - speed of the speed? Takes back to a comfy spot & then makes the move or gets burned up on the lead? Nonetheless she looked very good in the post parade.
Let's see if Phil Teator can give Skiffs Angel a decent trip.
Friends of Bertie #7 could go a long way on the lead - if the form of the 4 is heading south. But the 1 could also be in the pace picture as well.
We shall see, they are loading.
Staring at the computer screen must be getting me a bit rummy. At second glance the 7's form was the one heading the other way. Her race 2 back set that in motion imo.
Not like the 4 horse ran any better. :)
Phil Teator & I had different idea's in mind regarding Skiff's Angel.
A zig instead of a zag.
I'll go with another two horse approach using #2 Moorebella & #8 My Tale.
I like the experienced mare in Moorebella, who knows what the finish line is all about.
My Tale is had much success over the surface & might be set to fire tonight.
I'm lured by a longshot & a first time starter.
#7 & #3
What a chitty way to finish.
Oh well, not a bad evening overall.
