Are horseplayers outside of the U.S. playing American tracks in a greater amount these days?

I know for a fact this is true in the British Isles, because access to US racing is pretty good - it was non-existant a few years back. Over there they have a couple of racing channels that screen many US meets - not NY tracks, though - and you can play the pools via your t.v. remote control or the internet, all you need is a creditcard.
