Interesting race.

Stephanie Fedora is 0-66+ coming into the race.
Trick of the South has been in better form lately and Wayne Catalano is known for his 1st after claim "magic" (34%)
horse is #10 Trick of the South. Early Speed and fades. Last 2 races at Keeneland and CD respectively. Albarado had both mounts. Impressive was the race 2 back , ran into the teeth of the keeneland poly bias and just faded in the stretch @7f clm16000.

This race could go either way.
If the public stays away from the #10 , it could be a chance for an overlay with a lot of positive factors.

If the #10 is well-bet , there could be an opportunity for a decent payout.

#9 (6-1)drops from clm 25000 in the last three races. Won three back clm 25000. Last two races in the mud. Decent early foot that may carry, Ocampo rides.

#6 (8-1) Sharp lately at this class level, Meier could have her running at the end, could benefit from the pace scenario.

If you want negatives on the #10. Not only would i question the horses staying ability, but she also seems better on turf or poly , than dirt.

Last. Did not run a step.

#9 runs third.

also noted that the chart lists E. Perez as the jockey for #6 Annie Run.
don't know if that is a typo, or a change Hawthorne forgot to declare...

She keeps her full bug weight off! If she gets a remount with a low post I will bet it!

Catalano is usually great off the claim, but he's been cold (for him) with that angle at Hawthorne. He's won with a few low-odds horses, but not like last year. When he has a good one, he usually won't use a low percentage rider either, so you can safely pass on those most of the time.
