In one of his books, Ainslie once published a prioritized list of categories of races you could or should eliminate if you wanted to reduce your overall amount of play. I believe I recall the item at the top of the list being winter racing at cold-weather tracks.

I guess Ainslie missed out on all the Big A inner goodies. Thats a meet that offers plenty of value.

I thought Aqu card was very good today...much better than recent days.

6-0 in NFL so far today. Doubt the track would have matched that.

I don't bet on pro sports, so forgive the simple question: how much could you make if you had parlayed those 6 games successfully?

About 200-1 since there were moneyline dogs.

It was 7-0 after the Saints won.

I agree. Winter racing at A is a pretty dismal proposition. Inside speed bias, poor quality claiming horses...lousy jockey colony, no crowds. Certainly no overlays from the Dutrow or Contessa barns. After Belmont closes....it is time to follow the game elsewhere. Plenty of better venues {Oaklawn, Fairgrounds, Tampa, Santa Anita, Gulfstream} It is supposed to be an outdoor activity! To each his own.

Contessa has won like 11 races or so.....here are some of them, big chalks excluded.

11/29 Willis Sweet Girl 12.00
12/1 Browned Eyed Girl 9.60
12/2 Successful Affair (Stakes) 10.00
12/3 Atouatora 9.30
12/3 My Kitty (Stakes) 9.80
12/6 Barcola 7.80
12/7 Fresh Episode 6.20
12/7 Formal Charade 8.50
12/7 Silver Prospector 14.80

R Dutow has been quiet, but popped a firtser Margis Smile at 16.40
Anthony Dutrow has had a few winner, one a price.

IMO, January is much worse for betting opportunities than December. I love GP, but lets face it, the first 3-4 weeks of GP are loaded with first time starters and horses returning off layoffs. To a lesser extent, Oaklawn is similar. At TP, the quality, not real high in December, gets worse. Hawthorne closes. SoCal has their only time of year when they get sloppy tracks. Fair Grounds is decent, if you don't mind the three races a day for LA-breds. As for the Inner dirt, why would anyone object to a inside bias?
