I think we've all battled with those voices in our heads that seem to pop up every time one of these magnificent creatures goes down.

Sorry to hear. Actually, I almost claimed this horse this past spring out of maiden claimer. I kept an eye on him straight through and thought he'd be a nice racehorse.

Raced 6 times at 2; 4 times at 3, then Hooper ran the horse often and he began wearing wraps. I assume from the PP's he must have had some kind of chronic leg issue. Most likely off 3 months from Nov 2005- April 2006.
Dec 4 2006 was the 2nd time within 2 months he worked a couple of days prior to a race.
As usual, 2nd turn did him in.
