I found this while browing a UK racing site.. Sounds like a great book, abit expensive at 100 pounds plus shipping but would make an awesome gift...maybe this could be the prize for one of PA's future handicapping contests?

"The Racing Post’s Paul Haigh – that most travelled and talented of racing writers - has selected the 28 greatest racecourses from around the globe for this landmark publication. Each course is beautifully illustrated with sumptuous colour photographs and a stunning essay, which bring the locations to glorious life. Each sumptuously-bound volume is individually numbered and signed by the author. This book is not available in bookshops.

The ultimate collector’s item, and a very special gift.

Courses selected: Arlington, Ascot, Baden-Baden, Belmont Park, Chantilly, Churchill Downs, The Curragh, Deauville, Del Mar, Epsom Downs, Flemington, Goodwood, Happy Valley, Kranji, Kyoto, Leopardstown, Longchamp, Moonee Valley, Nad Al Sheba, Nakayama, Newmarket, Randwick, Santa Anita, Saratoga, Sha Tin, Tokyo, Woodbine and York."

The Curragh? Rubbish facilities, overpriced and antiquated - and I've never experienced a really great atmosphere there.
