how hard would it be to write a program that would use the 50 cent tsn file,to display the races like the form,but tag the pacelines that meet par?
preferably using horsestreet pars.or does anyone know of one that already does this?

I very recently got an email asking that same question of HSH. I just spent the last hour figureing out how to do it with the least amount of programming.

equisim does it

it is called "JR's" magic marker. it is an option on the form view. It uses the Bris pars ........which means it is almost useless because BRIS pars are goofy and rarely do many horses in most races make the pars. It does divide them up and highlight them by the different segments of the race. But it works somewhat to identify big closers and early runners, pretty damn well.

I will let you guess who the function is named after............. :lol:

You should see it in a contentious stakes race. Every damn line is near yellow. Lots of help huh? I still like using it now that I have a color laser printer.
