Are the horses so bad at the Mountain that we are going to be deluged with 5 and 5 1/2 races forever? What happened to a good 6f distance?

Less distance, less time for a possible breakdown. I miss the 2 furlong races at the Mountain. Richard Markham (Whippem) could whip a horse at least 30 times in 22 seconds.

Equibase will give you dozens of other tracks running, some actually have routes!LOL!!

I work during the day so there is very little choice of night tracks to choose from. I don't mind a few short races but MNR seems like they are plagued with them lately...

I dunno, but most of my horses at the Mountain arre done after 2 or three furlongs. I was hoping some 4 furlong races.:rolleyes:

charlestown had a barrel of 4 1/2 furlong races last week. Haven't` been back since. Considering 1/4 horses now . ;)

They have had a barrel of 4 1/2 furlong races since the inception of the track. That is unless the chute is frozen and they can only run 4f.

I like the Q horses.....as long as they are on at night, I decided to play them. I have a method that worklds failry well - enough to keep me solvent and feed my action until the T breds come along. :p
