When I first used the "Favorites" to save web-sites, they seemed to
filter themselves into an A-Z filing system, however, for the last several
months, they no longer go into the alphabetical form they they originally
had. Is there anyway to get them into an A-Z format again ?

If you're using IE
1.Right-click anywhere on the Favorites menu.
2.On the menu that opens, click Sort by Name. See step 2 in the image below.
Internet Explorer 6 lists folders first (if you have them), and then individual Web pages in the main list.

.....but somehow that was done awhile ago with the problem being this :
The 1st 30 or so items were put in alphabetical order (end's "Zap-it",)
then it has "P-3 Plus" under the "Z", then websites that start with #'s,
then it starts the alphabet all over again with the remaining sites....
in essence, giving me 3, count'em, A thru Z's....
P.S. I have been told on a number of occassions that I
could mess up a free lunch !
You drag and drop them where you want them to be.

I found out the hard way.
If you run Crap Cleaner (free), it will automatically sort them for you. (a-z)
I had them all in specific places on the (favorites) list, then Unfortunately ran Crap-Cleaner and presto, they were in alphabetical order. However the individual icons were gone. - All (non-folders) were changed to the IE icon.
The time it will take me to re-sort them (100's), is only slightly longer than the half-life of uranium !

!
I object to the name. It's vile, vulgar & revolting.
Works fairly well though.
