I buy a couple of these each year. The photos are excellent and usually suitable for framing.

If you want to turn a den or office into a racing room just order a bunch of back calendars (at $5 each), cut out the pictures, back them and you are (as they say) off to the races.

LOL - Not a promo piece... I simply enjoy these calendars a lot.

ST Publishing.

That's the Clancy Brothers. Sean and Joe. They write the Saratoga Special ever summer. Travis Stone the new caller at Louisiana downs worked for them when he broke into the business while at College. TravisVox is his PA name I think.

I've met them, and I think a few other guys here have been introduced to them up state once or twice.

I got my calendar order today and all I can say is, "Wow!" These are the best pictures ever!

They are clean and crisp and most are closeup action shots. Most with one horse but a few with driving horses. I may actually have to re-do my office.

The 13th picture is a closeup of a guy being thrown over the horse's head during the stretch drive and right at the camera! What a picture!

One of the best pictures that I have is from the 2005 Tampa Bay Downs calendar. The April picture shows an alligator slithering out of the pond and heading for the track which is about 10-15 feet away with the horses approaching. I scanned it and sent it to my horseplayer buddies with the caption, "New Handicapping Factor".

Oh, I'd like that one.

Do you still have it, Richard?

It's in a box somewhere (we moved in late 2005). I'll see if I can find it.

Thought maybe I had the picture on my disk but I was using a different machine then and it's kaput.

cj,

These nuns must be the ones that won a nice Pick 6 a year or two ago at Philly Park ( I think it was Philly ) - a true story!

They said it was ... devine intervention. :)
