;) Isn't that the one where the author suggests you sneak an AK47 into the track and rob the mutual clerks? ;)

No,I think it's the book where you go into the track and make dumb remarks.

Somewhere else on this board that book was brought up and I ordered it on Amazon third party. (It took like 6 weeks to arrive.) I am reading that book right now but my schedule has stood in the way in the last week or so.
Frankly, I am impressed by what I have read thus far. I already got an idea for a very significant addition to HSH in v5 (2007).
It is not a mainstream book because the author does not pretend to be aimed at the professional but rather at the recreational player who is out to have a good time. As such, he puts forth some ideas that are highly practical while not demanding huge effort.
I would highly recommend this book. (And if anyone can point me to the original thread where I ordered it I'll think the suggestor.)

Dave Schwartz

Its a well written book, but pretty much geared for the non or or casional fan with basic speed rating, form and class handicapping. Its been a while, but as I remember he lays things out on the basis of whether you want to break even or score a fair amount, and the risk factors involved in both approaches.
Seemed fairly sound, but nothing particularly new, and nothing you don't know already.
