NHL Ratings

Don't know if there are any hockey fans here, but FWIW, here are my NHL Rankings:

This system won just over 61% of the games last year -- straight-up with no spread. It still needs some refining. Sometimes I can tell a team is going to win or lose even when my rankings say otherwise. Tonight, I figured Buffalo was going to lose to Ottawa. BUF had won 10 road games in a row. OTT has a poor record at home. But somehow I knew OTT was going to win. Call me clairvoyant. :D

Anyone have any recommendations?

I think St. Louis is abit better than Philly.... abit too underrated ? They really gutted the team last year..

I agree.

A team's rating changes after they play a game. Right now I have STL 975.7 and PHI 971.6.

By the way, the ratings before tonight's games appear below. The ratings only picked 1 out of 3 correctly tonight. Last year they picked 61%. This ratings method still has a few kinks that need to be worked out. It picked MIN over OTT yesterday, but OTT killed them. OTT is hot and MIN is not.

ANA killed SanJose tonight. Yet, the ratings picked S.J. I'm not sure I'm giving a team with home ice enough of an advantage when I compile the ratings.
