Sure it's catchy to have been born in a year like 1940 but let's zoom in on a couple later, namely Nov 18th 1942 and talk about a certain actress who played on a certain western called The Big Valley -
That's right - Happy Birthday Linda Evans. Oh and U2 TD

Funny - I saw the picture and my eyes, naturally, went right to what I thought at first was a blonde Barbie Doll. Then I thought, interesting pose of Barbie & friends in a western town scene. Then I thought, wait, that's a real guy, and these aren't dolls at all. Then I realized it was Linda Evans and the cast of The Big Valley.

Oh, do I need to get out more and away from this computer.

Thanks guys, it was a uneventful day with the exception of the horses. Phone calls and e-mail from the family, cake with one candle. The last big splash was my 40th.

I did go to a fund raiser Saturday afternoon, saw many old friends. Felt pretty good about myself, heck just about everyone I had time to talk to were on some sort of medication or other problems. The common response to me was, "must feel good to have a full head of hair. :D Another thing that struck me was, guys that used to be regular bar fly's were no longer drinking or smoking, drinking and medication don't mix. The best part was the warm feelings and knowing they were still alive, bragging about their children and grandchildren.

Another observation was, three guys that I know got divorced, reasonably successful men, I would say their wives or girl friends were at least 20 years or more younger than them. One looked like she could work the streets the way she was dressed. :D

Thanks again,

T.D.
