Another sad addition to a depressing year. He was one of, if not the, best New York Breds of all time, and if you live in the Empire State like I do, you'll agree that this is a tremendous loss.

Bubbles, thanks for putting that notice up. What a horse, he was so aptly named, wonderful long stride, a great champion. You are right, what a grim- murderous year this turned out to be.
