Cracks in the Democrat armour?

Before the libs get up in arms, the author of this link is CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington), a highly partisian leftist watchdog group. In their top 20 corrupt members of Congress, 17 are convinently Republican, as are 21 or the top 25.
CREW BLASTS PELOSI ENDORSEMENT OF UNETHICAL MURTHA FOR MAJORITY LEADER (http://www.citizensforethics.org/press/newsrelease.php?view=178)

If you don't remember, Jack Murtha was part of the Abscam sting operation where he told the FBI he wasn't interested in taking a bribe, "at this point". He was NOT prosecuted, rather re-elected.

You can see the ABSCAM video here:

This press release from CREW came out today.

As far as ABSCAM, how many times have we heard about Tom Delay?

You can't trust party lines or labels liberal/conservative they mean nothing, they discribe nothing they give you no information. Why would she do this?

She must owe a debt, about to lead a boold bath and this is the man thats going to take the point or she has no respect for the people that called for a change and a end to this very sort of action.

You can't trust either party but it was time for a shift.

Good point...pound away at this like the left would....

Hell, if Murtha were a Republican instead of a Democrat, the FOUR HORSEMEN OF THIS board (who have grown mysteriously silent since the election) SECRETARIAT, HCAP, 46ZILZAL and LJB would have been hospitalized by now each with severe cases of CARPEL TUNNEL SYNDROME.

You ever seen Amy Goodman? Call me crazy but I like her. I watch her newscast on DemocracyNow 3 or 4 nights a week. Something about smart liberal women that gets me all tingly. Not that she's a super model or anything...but I find her hot. She is viciously intelligent and I like that...ALOT!

Anyway...She hates Murta and did a big piece on him last night about what a unethical bastard he is. I have found many Democratic web sites that are unnerved by his leadership role.

Who knows, maybe he is a suicide bomber and will be gone 90 days into the new congress. Either way....If Amy does'nt like him..Then I don't either.

Well, this is refreshing to hear. I'm liking Democrats more and more each day.

New York Times morning editorial slams Pelosi for supporting Murtha.

Slams Repug's for resurrecting Lott.

So far, the Democrats seem not to have paid much attention to the tattered baggage lugged into the limelight by Representative John Murtha of Pennsylvania, the Iraq war critic who is Speaker-to-be Nancy Pelosi’s choice for second in command. And yesterday, Republicans resurrected Trent Lott, the Mississippi senator who fell from the majority leader’s post three years ago

They are not Blue Dogs. They just didn't want a fool being a loud voice for them. Murtha has lost his mind and they know it.

They sure loved his (fool) voice early in the war when he was vocally against it.
