The sixth-place finisher in Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup Distaff and a former Kentucky Oaks winner topped the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Selected Fall Mixed Sale Sunday in Lexington.

BBA Ireland Limited bought Sharp Lisa, the sixth-placed in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff at Churchill Downs, for $3.4 million.

WinStar Farm of Versailles, Ky., bought Summerly, the 2005 Oaks winner, for $3.3 million

ya, those lisa horses seem to be all over the place. most likely LISA is the most common philly name going today.
