They've redesigned the TV graphics for Philly Park racing ... the strip colors on the bottom of the screen - red and gold - for the post parade and winner's circle are the ones they're using to advertise the "Philadelphia Park Casino." Unfortunately, it's like putting a dress on a pig - the product is still the same. And it's unfortunate that Greenwood Racing waited until they got that lucrative slots license to decide they needed to try and make their racing product more attractive.
Speaking of the "Philadelphia Park Casino," I understand they got thousands of applications for about 700 jobs. The people that applied for the cocktail waitress and waiter jobs had to "audition," meaning they had to hop up on a makeshift stage and pretend to play a guitar and sing. The reason? They only want to hire "outgoing" individuals. Seems to me this could be a bit of a discriminatory practice - what if a 60-something man applied for a waiter job? Hey Pops, get up on that stage and belt out Rod Stewart's "Do You Think I'm Sexy" on your air guitar!
