Racing: jockey suspended
A quarter horse jockey received a one year suspension yesterday for allededly using an electronic buzzer to shock a horse he rode at Fairplex Park in September.
Carlos Bautista was accused of using the device on Royal Medallion during the warmup period Sept. 24. The suspension runs from Nov.1 thru Oct. 21 2007.

Remember the weight scandel a while back where some well known jocks and scale man who was a former jock where accused of cheating on the weight but it raised questions of what happened when the left town to ride and still made weight? Were there not 100 plus charges handed down?

Perhaps one day one of the jocks will be like Jose Canseco and write a book "outing" the guys who do this and how often it happens.

Any jockey agents want to chime in here?
