Wow! $75 million handle for the quarter for a national concern. What a poor showing!
In New York State, the 6 OTB public benefit corporations handle by telephone alone close to $400 million a year and Capital OTB has its own television station with live in-home racing on all the northern NY cable channels every day. NYCOTB has in-home racing on two separate channels.
The Long Island OTBs also have an in-home presence. One corporation, NYCOTB, handled over a billion dollars in total for each year during its last two fiscal years.

Figman your post points to the importance of having the racing product on cable TV. I think if any of the online wagering companines would do more to get their product on local cable TV channels they would see a big increase in handle.
