Well today was my birthday and had an angle that I should have used but didnt.
First off I have a horse in my watch list I put in awhile back. This horse has done nothing really since putting in my list and have thought about taken it out many times but never got around to it.
Well a few days ago this horse comes in my mail box. Sweet Water Rim running at Thistledown in the 2nd race on Oct 23. Well I really didnt pay no attention as due to the horse has not shown life in awhile and blew off the watch reminder.
Well later today get the results and low and behold Sweet Water Rim wins.
Now here is the catch though. Sweet Water Rim runs on Oct 23 and pays $74.80 to win. Well I was born on 10/23/74, thus basically paying out my birthdate on my birthday.
What a fool should have been more aware of a quarky angle like this. I dont know if it can get any more ironic.
In all seriousness I wouldnt count this as any sort of angle, but be aware if you happen to see this angle you might want to play it.
