Some of you know that I like to play poker. Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that I was up in Niagara Falls this past weekend to try and qualify for a WPT event, and I made it through two 10 person tables to gain an entry to the $10,000 NAPC main event at the Fallsview Casino Oct 25-30. Hopefully it goes well enough that I can at least cash to make some $$ and even better if I could make the final table and be on TV.

Thanks for the words everyone. I will probably try to give some updates while I am there next week. Right now they say they are on pace for over 300 entries, so who knows what will end up starting the tournament

Buddha is being too modest. It's not easy to satellite into one of these tourneys. Here's how he did it...

I went up this past Tuesday/Wednesday and played in the $160 satellites. I played in 1 and got 4th. Tried another one Tuesday night and got 2nd, winning another seat in a $160. I played Wednesday afternoon and won that tourney, thus giving me an entry into the $1200 satellite. I was there this past weekend, Fri/Sat/Sun, and played in the $1200 satellite and won it, so I am going to be in the main event for a $320 investment. Looking forward to testing my game in the Big Show

Damn dude, you're GOOD! Good luck to you. I'll give you a $100 bounty on Phil Hellmuth if he is in the event, but it has to be verified.

I hear ya, I had been playing at partypoker, they cut off sometime this past weekend.

I had accounts at both pokerstars and ultimatebet, emphasis on had. Perhaps I'll reactivate.

Most of my play is at Full Tilt.

Best of Luck,

Tee

What are the games like at Full Tilt? I have considered it as the software looks decent

I'll tell you this much, I dumped both PokerStars & UltimateBet to continue playing at Full Tilt. I find FT's format much more user friendly. Every type of poker to be played for fun or for real. I really like their selection of sit & go's along with the WSOP promotion this past year.

Definitely download their software and give it a look.
