Andicap started a thread on this a while back and the thread seemed to do a lot regarding cookies. I was wondering about the original thread-Free regsitry Cleaner. I found two "free" ones already that found like 200 errors in my Registry but were only "free" for $29.95. I think the Registry is no place for the average user but I think something needs to be done on my machine. I have relied on the Norton "One Button Checkup" Registry cleaner but it does not find many errors. Any ideas?

ccleaner.com

Stands for Crap Cleaner. Can analyze and clean the registry as well as some other system maint. tools. Make sure to backup registry before cleaning it up.
It is free and seems to work pretty good.

Thanks for the tip. I have Crap Cleaner and Norton and both seem to work. When I tried the eval copies of the "free" software out there, all three of them turned up over 100 errors which makes me nervous but not $29.95 nervous.
