Legal Napster

Got an e-mail ad a few days ago from outfit claimed to be a legal napster type site. You can download free software from them to find the music and movies you want and a cd burner software to make mp3's and to convert mp3's to play on any cd player. 2 yrs amts to about $1.09 mo. I took 1 month trial for $5.95. Wow. Just 2 days an i've already got old Dean Martin, Hank Snow, Elvis, and Fats Domino songs. And, new stuff like Kelly Clarkson who just won American Idol competition and whose hit cd only couple weeks old and i've already downloaded it.

Aimster is free and legal. I have'nt used it but my kids do all the time.

Hurrikane, went to the site you suggested and notice they say they're fighting the courts. This means to me artists not getting paid. I'd rather pay a small amt and know the artists are receiving something.
Parents need to be aware of one thing:I don't know about your site but the site I suggested It is possible to also download porn. Watch your kids.

Your probably right Lefty. I don't watch it that closely. Both of my kids are musicians so they are always looking for music. Though not of the Dean Martin variety. :D Haven't noticed any porn yet. Thanks for the heads up.

Anyone found a place where you can download on a Mac? Most places are PC-only.
