I just read in today's DRF that Second Of June was euthanized after he
injured his right hind ankle during a routine workout. I thought he was
a very tough competitor, just not 100% fit. I think the JCGC w/ Bernardini
just got less interesting. You never know.

Now with Invasor probably out, it sounds like Bernardini is going to win in a runaway.

It's so sad about Second of June. It seems like the sport is losing alot of great horses this year. :(
