For years, here in SD, we've had Richocet. A high-speed wireless internet that covers the entire city. I thought I had died and gone to Wimbledon.
I can shlep a laptop anywhere in town: the car, the beach, the golf course, the whatever... and make wagers without having to further dent my office chair.
Point being, there are some good wireless plans out there and if you have a LT, go out and look @ the birds and place your bets - It's a good place to be and it clears the head without the redundancy of your usual scape.
