Seemed to be a good race. Only .46 sec off the track record. Strong Contender and Lawyer Ron both full of run in the stretch. Lawyer Ron was too much on the bit early, may have cost him the race. Sneaky good race by Costa Rising, who got caught 3 wide on the first turn, dropped back, rallied 3 wide on the backstretch and was in it to the eighth pole. Good effort by an overmatched horse.
