I wonder if Mcshell is going to dip back in for the 5? Odd interest in 8 year old gelding from him and Griffith?
Tough to get around Clever Louis, but in the interest of chasing a number, I'm going to single the 8 in Calders Opener.
The 8 Automatic Weapon, 8-1 on the ML.
Excuses,
a. ambitiously placed,
b. Off Track
c. used up
Basis
a. rested (6 weeks)
b. Rivito
c. in light, 7 pound break
Horse is only 5, and when they dropped him to this level the bettors sent him of at 5/2. Since, he's thrown up two- not so bad- races, mixed in with those excuses, they may very well ignore this one to the tune of $22.00. With the rest, and the weight break, he may run a race.
The 2nd is wide open. Since I'm just jigging and jiving, I'll bulls-eye the 3, Sonny Pajamas, on a class angle. 2nd Time Against Winners.
