Why don't they show more than pan shot? Can you really tell what happened the two horses that claimed were bumping each other when the winner went by.

Leave the bomber up!

Yeah I had a n ice W/P bet on the 8.. Knew I was screwed right when he veered.. Shame too, 15/1 and absolutely exploding late.. But them's the breaks

I did happen to see this race. Man, that 8 just shot right by those two and looked to be clear before veering in. I mean, it just exploded. I lost... :(

I didn't see the replay but during the live running my immediate thought was the 8 had to come down. There appeared to be a pretty big chain reaction to his lugging in.

Why did the Legs and Diamonds get taken down as well? The chart comments make it sound like he was a victim of the other two, and there's no mention of anything he did wrong...

can anyone describe what happened? Its hard to follow the thread if you did not see the race.

He may have been a victim of the other two but he definitely fouled as well. Actually he came over and nearly put a horse over the rail about a second or half second before the 8 horse decided to play Demolition Derby. If the chart didn't mention it, either they didn't have enough space or they are blind.

Valuist is right on. He came over just before the 8 pulled the big left turn. It was an accordian effect down the rail. The only horse that didn't get in trouble was the 1 horse who ran second.

I have had some bad beats before............. but that one made up for a bunch. I had the super for a dime.........but only if they take the 8 down and the 7 gets pushed back to. I can't believe they actually handed me that gift........... but if you watch the tape a few times you can see that I think they pretty much got it right...........but it took them forever

that's my story and I am sticking to it.............

Nice job Ralph. I think they got it right as well. I'm guessing the rider of the 8 will be getting some days off for that ride.
