Here's the replay (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0LY9-v79zc), which shows Woodbine's new saddlecloth/dancing number technology. I had Becrux when he won a division of the Oceanside at Del Mar last year and have seen most of his races since. His win here was a big surprise to me, but I suppose it shows how mediocre this field was. If history is a guide, we'll see some of these guys run back in the Shadwell Mile at Keenland. I'll be betting against 'em.

During the actual running of the race with the transponder display below it, it seemed like there was a 2 or 3 second delay.

I think it was a key race for the future for Becrux (ITY) and Rebel Rebel. The only disappointment was Remarkable News.

I thought Remarkable News may have been the best horse. The pace was blistering, and he finished 5th, not beaten very much. He definitely hung around longer than Sweet Return did. The race definitely set up for closers.

I'm sorry every entrant had to wear a bikini atoll.

I don't think Becrux ever ran a 100+ Beyer before? I guess that explains the 8/1 price.

I don't know the average Beyer for the BC Mile but I'm sure 104 won't get it done.

But then ....
