Do any Canadians subscribe to DRF simulcast weekly? I was wondering how long it takes to arrive up here. I tried calling their toll free number, but it doesn't work from where I live (Vancouver)..lol

I think your best bet is to subscribe to the online version.

I used to subscribe and I lived in Chicago area, and it took 4 days with me paying an extra 50 bucks a year for 1st class. 3rd class which is how they send it took well over a week. I think it is printed in Arizona. Like another said get it online, or figure something else out.

I don't think they have an on-line version (unless they just introduced it)

BTW delivery is not reliable at all in the states.

The on line version, like the pace figures, is once again late. They keep announcing things over there and not delivering.
Maybe they keep quite until they actually know thay can pull it off.

it would make sense to provide it online, maybe even in pdf format if it means people can get it the day its published vs getting a week later via 3rd class mail..

I hope this is true. I'd love to subscribe. However, seeing how it was late all the time when I lived in both Maryland and Oklahoma, I didn't hold out much hope for timely delivery here in Belgium.

Funny, but true story...when I was stationed in Saudi Arabia for six monthes, my wife would go to Remington, pick up SW, and drop it in the mail. It would receive it before my actual subscription copy arrived in my OK mailbox. Naturally, this only lasted a week or so before I cancelled the subscription. And, I was paying the additional fee for "quicker" delivery.

I got my access today - it is much better than I expected. That's right, I said BETTER!

You get the winners books all the way back to fall of 2005, by track, Beyer pars, every track, charts for almost all tracks going back a year, and much, much more.

This is really a good deal - paid subscribers to printed version - you get access through the rest of your plan.
Then, it is reasonable priced for what you get.

Did I say this was better than I expected?

i remember subscribing to this when there were no real on line access, can anyone give me a readers digest of how it can help you. We all have access to charts on line now.

Beyers for all tracks, Beyer pars for all tracks, OK articles sometimes, the foreign recap section is pretty good with Timeforms. The summary of racing at the big tracks will give you a nugget now and then.

Am I the only one who finds it strange that they charge the same price for online only subscriptions vs print + online ? You'd think the online only sub. would be abit cheaper

It is much cheaper online for the Simulcast Weekly than it is in print. As far as PPs, no. I imagine they don't want to kill the print market all together.

12 month $139.95

Print

I didn't realize the subscription price had dropped so much. Maybe I was remembering the price for faster delivery.

In any event, if you contradict me again, you will lose your King of Australia title!

So far, so good, except for one minor complaint. Are they ever going to update the Winners' Books for Mth, Alb, AsD, and Fpx online? Mth, Alb, and AsD are missing the whole last week, and Fpx is missing the 24th and Beyers from the 23rd.

It is a good product, but they have to do a better job of keeping the information current. It is Simulcast DAILY, right?
