Have you seen the new feature of Woodbine, it looks like the M&M races at the Chicago Bulls games. They have little squares that represent each horse, and it shows position on the track. It kind of makes a person dizzy trying to watch both. I guess this is the new technology they are talking about.

can only see it's advantage for charting. Of course if you grew up in a culture of video games, you might find it interesting, but then that crowd might have liked the Matrix parts 2 and 3 as well....

If your horse isn't near the front, I'm finding it much more useful than trying to see what's happening in the live shot.

I watched the races on Wednesday nite and thought "Trakus" was a step in the right direction for simulcasting. Its often difficult to find "your horse" in the back of a full field, sometimes you can't see the saddlecloth number due to angles or bad weather. It also gives you a true view of dueling horses, as far as camera angles. The one downfall I can see is the small time delay. As the horses cross the finish line, Trakus is a few tenths of a second behind. Photo finishes will be inaccurate also, since the camera placing is not on the horses' nose...yet.

They should do a survey and find out if most players are T-Breds vs Harneys, if T-Breds win, make them wait with for those race until no chance of overlap of a race. I really hate when Meadowlands runs on Sunday afternoon, even worse is waiting for a race an Frazier guy comes on TV, he is worse than anybody on TVG.
