Picks for Belmont Sunday:
R1 #10 Neuf De Carreau-Probable post time favorite. Gets go-to jock Prado off the claim.
R2 #7 Jimmy's Pride-Barn capable with layoff runners, and this one has the numbers to make
some noise in here.
R3 #3 High Again-Made a nice run on the turn after a troubled start. Should like the added distance
R4 #3 Spartan Valor-Didn't get beat by too much in last dirt effort against ML favorite. Gets a
favorable jock switch here.
R5 #1a Humorous Venture-Barn does well with 2nd out runners. Gets Prado today.
R6 #8 Clear Heels-Has had excuses in her last few efforts. Should be a decent price here.
R7 Pass
R8 #14 Captiva Bay-Ran well in defeat last out off a layoff. Has drilled nicely since, should be a
factor here.
R9 #2 Pool Land-Won the battle but lost the war last out. Doesn't need the lead to win and
will sit behind the leaders today.
R10 #7 Smoke Diamond-Last two efforts at this track/surface/distance he ran pretty well. Can't
see 20/1 here, but should be a decent price.
