Friday night at Mountaineer I made a pick three wager races 6/7/8
here a copy of my wagering

the scenerio that presented itself was I was alive going into race 8,I had three horses 2 (pay $1200) 3 (pay $3400) 5 (pay $840)
So what I eventually did was bet $50 to win on the rest of the field
1 (18/1) 4 (7/1) 6 (4/1) 7 (7/1), basically insuring myself of making a bit of money, worse case scenerio the 6 wins I make roughly $50.00
The 4 horse won paying $17.00 so I made $225.00.
The question I have was it the right wager or how many of you would have the left the last race alone and hope to catch the pick or maybe bet more on each ,(which I orginally intended to do)
P.s. notice the nice hit I made in the third race as well ,these were the only bets I made at MNR last night.sorry about the copy and paste not coming out good top right race ,left side wager
